Testers Needed
We are holding an appathon, a contest to create content for the MI MOM app. We need testers to help us determine the winner.

The MI MOM app is designed to improve pregnancy, with an emphasis on helping Black and rural moms. Learn more about the app here.

An appathon is an event where people work on designing an app together for a dedicated period of time. Learn more about the rural appathon here.

Those who are or have been pregnant are strongly encouraged to sign up.
Reward
Testers will receive a $25 gift card.
Commitments

People can apply to be testers until TBD, 2024. Those chosen to participate will be notified by TBD.

Review period: TBD, 2024.

Testers will sign in to the app, view content, and rate usefulness, engagement, and respectfulness.

Time commitment is about 60 minutes.

Requirements
-
Testers must be 18 or older and live in rural, northern Michigan. This is the area north of Mt Pleasant and Midland in the lower peninsula and all of the upper peninsula, including the larger northern cities (Traverse City, Marquette, etc.). Please contact the study team if you are unsure if you qualify.

Testers must complete the survey in order to receive the gift card.

Testers cannot compete in the appathon.

Testers cannot be employed with Michigan State University or Flint Innovative Solutions.
